One file, one payment, worldwide commercial use with no impression limit. What the three dollars includes and what it deliberately does not.
Three dollars buys a licence to one photograph. Not a subscription, not a credit, not a trial. Here is the whole of it.
Included
The licence is worldwide, perpetual and non-exclusive, and it covers commercial use. That means websites, apps, printed matter, advertising, packaging, client work and merchandise you sell. There is no impression cap, no print-run threshold, and no separate rate for using the picture in more than one country.
You may crop it, grade it, composite it and edit it however you like.
You get the original file: full pixel dimensions, no watermark, no downsampling. The three-by-three grid you see on the site is on the previews only.
Not included
Exclusivity. Somebody else may licence the same photograph. At three dollars this should be obvious, but it is worth saying plainly: if a campaign depends on nobody else having the picture, this is the wrong library.
Redistribution. You cannot sell or give away the file itself, add it to another library, bundle it into an asset pack or ship it inside a template. Selling a poster that uses the photograph is fine. Selling the photograph is not.
Model and property releases. Landscape work rarely contains people, and where it does they are incidental and not identifiable. If an image page notes a private property, do not use that frame to advertise a competing service without asking.
Machine-learning training. Not permitted, at any price.
Why it is three dollars and not thirty
Because the catalogue is large and the pictures are landscape frames rather than commissioned studio work. Volume rather than scarcity.
That is a real trade and you should know which side of it you are on. If you need a valley at dawn for a blog header, a slide, a background or a mood board, three dollars is the correct price and paying more would be silly. If you need a photograph nobody else on earth will use on the front of a box, buy exclusivity somewhere, from someone, and it will not cost three dollars.
Free files
Some images here are free. They download without a payment step and carry exactly the same licence. They are not a trial and they do not convert into a charge; they are there so you can check the file quality before spending anything.
If a page shows a price it is paid. If it shows a download button it is free. There is no third case.
