How do you download the nature photography after paying? – Affordable Nature Photography
Pay, download, done. What happens in between, and how to recover a download that failed.
No account, no password, no mailing list. Press buy, pay with PayPal, get the file.
The sequence
The buy button opens PayPal. When PayPal confirms, this site checks the capture against the exact image and the exact amount before releasing anything, then issues a download link tied to that purchase. The download starts by itself; if your browser blocks it, the link is on the page.
The file that arrives is the original: full resolution, no watermark, metadata intact.
The link
Good for five downloads over seven days. Enough to fetch the file on a second machine or pass it to a colleague on the same project, short enough that a link leaking into a shared document does not become permanent.
When it goes wrong
Nothing downloaded. Use the link on the confirmation page directly.
You closed the tab. The purchase is recorded against the PayPal order id, not against your browser. Send us the order id from your PayPal receipt and the link is reissued.
The link expired. Same answer. A licence you paid for does not lapse because a link did.
PayPal charged you but the page errored. This is exactly the case the verification step exists for. The capture is recorded on our side; send the order id and the file follows. If the capture genuinely did not complete, PayPal will not have charged you.
Buying several files
There is no basket. Each image is bought on its own page, which is deliberate at this price: a basket adds a step to a three-dollar transaction and saves nothing.
If you are licensing more than about twenty files for one project and would prefer a single invoice, write to us with the asset ids and we will arrange it.
Keeping the file
Download once, store it somewhere durable, and work from copies. Re-downloading only works inside the seven-day window, and while we will help beyond it, your own backup is faster than an email.
Record the asset id alongside the file. It is the only identifier that survives a rename and ties the picture to the licence you bought.
What we store
The purchase record holds the PayPal order id, the asset id, the amount, and the email address PayPal reports for the payer. Nothing else. There is no account, no password, no profile and no marketing list.
We do not see your payment details at any point; the card or balance side of the transaction happens entirely inside PayPal, which is the main reason checkout works this way rather than through a form on this site.
Download tokens expire on their own and are not reused.
